Flash original Images (Android 1.6, 2.1, 2.3 Images)
Root your phone
Install Recovery, Busybox, custom kernels
Clean your Rom (remove /system/apps apps of your choice) (Be careful, unless you really know what you do, do not modify the default list. This can make your phone stuck at the SE Logo)
Clear dalvik cache
Optimize (install of JIT v2) (Disabled in 0.4, will readd it as a plugin for 2.1 phones only)
Customize (installs apps found in the custom/apps folder of the flashtool)
Clean uninstalled (remove any references to system apps removed in the Clean (root needed) step)
Edit any text file on the device
Rebrand your device

 
Accept all the prompts and once finished load flashtool

 
Now select flashmode
Now click the "..." button
 

Note: The downloaded firmware has to be placed in the firmware folder in flashtool.

browse to the folder where the FTF is and press "open"
Now click the "..." button
 

Switch your phone off and press and hold the back (volume down on some phones) button while connecting usb lead (Green LED)
It should start flashing and once done will say "Complete", Reboot and your done.
Congratulations you have now successfully flashed a FTF file using flashtool .

3. Open LiveSuit.exe derived from the Live File ektrasi Suite.rar

8. The process lasts up to 100%, if the program is not responding promptly dislodged Z5 cable and start the program again.

 Method II:
This method is more simple.

1. If you have an SD Memory Card Class Medium (6-8) or Tinngi (10) can use this alternative.

2. Insert your SD Card into your computer through a card reader or through direct Z5 USB storage mode.

3. Copy the firmware image file to a folder td outermost dr memory card SD Card (Root Folder).

4. Change the name of the file to be update.img

5. Mount or Insert your SD Card again.

6. Turn off your Z5.

7. Pray turn Z5 with AMDA.

8. Later there will be a question whether you want to upgrade select yes.

9. The upgrade process is running, please continue to pray.

10. If it is 100%, wait until Z5 bring Animationnya Boot logo IMO and will turn into Android that Mengelengkan head, not David Villa lg.

Battery Calibration CWM and App – Tutorial

Hello all,

Today we will cover the most discussed but still challenging for many users who are using  CyanogenMod 7.1 v1.4. And that is “How to calibrate battery?”

Everyone wants their battery with optimal charging capacity and long lasting especially we are using custom roms.

First of all, Why we need battery calibration?

Well, If you have installed or upgraded CyanogenMod 7.1 V1.4 from V1.3 then it is using new kernel battery driver  which requires  to remove old batterystat.bin system file  in order to regenerate  new batterystat.bin system file by OS itself which will have updated battery information to drive it.

Second question may come in your mind, why batterystats.bin file? What’s in that? 

batterystats.bin file store battery storage information and reflect to battery performance. Symptoms of a bad batterystats.bin include poor battery life, excessive battery drain, phone is dead within hours or minutes of charging, battery will not fully charge, etc. These problems occur as the batterystats file may not know the correct max charge of the battery, or the min charge of the battery, and thus your battery will be artificially limited between what the OS thinks is the entire battery when in fact the batterystats.bin is not telling the whole story.

This operation you can do from CWM recovery manager. Just follow to below steps.

Get into CWM recovery mode.  and follow instruction as shown in screenshot?

Another related app we have is “Battery Calibration”. You can download it from market for free. It basically does same job as mentioned above but only thing it dosn;t require any boot. Just look at screenshot it has pretty well defined instructions. Just follow it and then you good to go with your battery.

Other thing we recommend is do battery wipe just once when you upgrade or fresh install ROM and perform charging-discharging  cycles 3-4 time.

(Note: Charging -dischargning cycle require complete draining of battery untill 0% and charge it to 100% without any break if you want optimal performance of battery )

1 – Download CyanogenMod ROM

Links can be found on ROM Manager or Goo-inside.me, depends on Release. If you can’t find the link please read CyanogenMod 7 Development Thread.

1. Download the base package named update-cm-20120X0Y-MADTEAM-galaxy5-signed.zip
2. Download latest hotfix package for the same base package version, named galaxy5-vX.Y-hotfixZ.zip (if exists)

3. Download Google Apps package, named gapps-gb-DATE-signed.zip

4. Copy all these Downloaded files to your Phone’s SD Card.

2 – ClockworkMod Recovery

ClockworkMod – also known as Clockwork and CWM – is a custom recovery for Android phones and tablets that allows you to perform several advanced recovery, restoration, installation and maintenance operations on your Android device that aren’t possible with the stock recovery.

Download Flash Tools and ClockworkMod Recovery:


1. Download ODIN Multi Downloader v4.28
2.Download EUROPA_v1.0.OPS (ODIN Partition Script)
3. Download ClockworkMod v5.0.2.7 (unofficial Port v0.7 by psyke83) for Galaxy5

Flashing ClockworkMod Recovery on Galaxy5:
Reboot the device into Download Mode by holding Volume Down + Middle D-Pad button + Power Button together.
Galaxy 5 in Download Mode:

1.Connect Galaxy 5 to your PC using Data Cable (Use Original Samsung one!)
2.Run ODIN Multi Downloader v4.28
3.Click on [OPS] button and browse for EUROPA_v1.0.ops file.
4.Check “One Package” option.
5.Click on [One Package] button and browse for “ClockworkMod-Galaxy5-v0.7.tar”
6.No Debug mode.
7.Click on [Start] button and wait until you see RESET or PASS above timer. After that you can Disconnect Galaxy5 from PC.
 8.Phone will automatically Reboot into ClockworkMod that you have flashed.
Galaxy 5 in ClockworkMod Recovery:
 

 3. Installing CyanogenMod ROM

 
1. Now in ClockworkMod Recovery, use D-Pad buttons to navigate Up/Down.
2. If you are upgrading from Eclair or Froyo, you absolutely must perform a data wipe: Select wipe data/factory reset and confirm the operation. Note that you will lose all of your user data, so be sure that you have performed a backup. Otherwise, skip to the next step.
3. Choose the option install update from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard. You will see the two (or three) .zip files in the list, which you have copied before.
 4. Select the base package named update-cm-20120X0Y-MADTEAM-galaxy5-signed.zip and scroll download and confirm it.
5 You must install the two (or three if you have hotfix) files in this exact order:

• The base package named update-cm-20120X0Y-MADTEAM-galaxy5-signed.zip
• The Google Apps package, named gapps-gb-DATE-signed.zip
• The latest hotfix package for the same base package version, named galaxy5-vX.Y-hotfixZ.zip

Note : If you are upgrading from an older CyanogenMod version, you always need to re-install the Google Apps package, even if you had previously installed it.

 6 Once the packages are installed you can reboot the phone by selecting reboot system now option.
 7 Now you will see new CyanogenMod boot animation, the first boot may take longer than normal, due to Deodexing.

CHAPTER I.  Flashing equipment

Preparation Hardware:

o Original Mini - USB Cable

o What is clear for Galaxy 5 GT - i5503 model's or GT - i5500

o PC or Laptop

Flashing Preparation Software:

o Samsung Usb Drivers

o Odin Multi Downloader v4.28 [ / url ]

o File OPS ( EUROPA_v1.0.ops file )

o Winrar / ZIP / 7zip (need to extract the compressed file )

o Make sure the powersupply G5 filled 85% and a PC Power Supply in good condition .( see also electricity ga jail again ? , like turn on the electricity turned off .. he should not die power / better there UPS )

 BAB. II  Persiapan memulai Flashing

 File Preparation - Files on PC or Laptop:
o Install Samsung USB Drivers (make sure installed properly)
o Creating Folders For File - File Flashing eg GT-i5503
o Copy File "Odin Multi Downloader v4.28.exe" and "EUROPA_v1.0.ops" in Folder GT-i5503
o Install WinRAR or WinZip or 7zip
o Download the firmware or rom and place it in the folder I5503DXJP6.rar GT-i5503
o Extract using WinRAR or WinZip or 7zip firmware or rom I5503DXJP6.rar once extracted open the folder there will be a file I5503OLBJP6.tar
o Now Agan Sista Om aunt had 3 files in Folder GT-i5503 is "Odin Multi Downloader v4.28.exe", "EUROPA_v1.0.ops" and "I5503OLBJP6.tar" 

Preparation Phone Galaxy 5:

o Turn off the G5 agan sista aunt and uncle opened his rear casing G5

o Disconnect the battery then remove the SIM Card and SD CARD Disconnect

o If It Fit again batterynya

o When the G5 is OFF , simultaneously press and hold the 3 buttons are:

o Volume Down + Center button ( the button in the middle of the biggest PAD ) + Power Button

o Press and Hold 3 buttons until the screen appear the words and images G5 " DOWNLOADING "

 CHAPTER .III Started Flashing using Odin Multi Downloader

Part One Flashing :

o If the PC or Laptop SAMSUNG KIES installed , make sure the Kies program its first turn

o Connect G5 ( still in downloading mode) to your PC or Laptop using the Original Mini - USB Cable

 Part Two Flashing :

o Open the folder and run the GT-i5503 "Odin_Multi_Downloader_v4.28.exe" program.
o Make sure the Box "COM PORT MAPPING" YELLOW color, if not, then there is a problem with the USB Cable, Samsung USB Driver or G5 are not in a state DOWNLOADING, so G5 can not be flashed to repair the problem
o Ensure AutoReboot, Protect OPS and One Package in check; Debug Only be unchecked
o Select File OPS: OPS click button. Dialog box will open, navigate to the folder GT-i5503 and then select "EUROPA_v1.0.ops"
o Select the firmware or rom: Click One Package button. Dialog box will open, navigate to the folder GT-i5503 and then select "I5503OLBJP6.tar"

Unroot Galaxy S2 I9100G on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Via Stock Recovery [Tutorial]

Samsung rolls out Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean software update for Galaxy S2 I9100G.

 Samsung has started pushing out the Android 4.1.2 (XXLSR) Jelly Bean update for its second generation Galaxy S series smartphone (model number I9100G), which was first shipped with Gingerbread software and upgraded to Android Ice Cream Sandwich version.

 The Jelly Bean software upgrade bundles an array of new features such as new user interface (UI), TouchWiz Nature UX, improved camera function, new lockscreen, Direct Call, Smart Stay, Pop-up Play, new Widgets from Galaxy S3, Home screen modes, new Notification bar and Google Now. 

The phone loses manufacturer's warranty with rooting, although there are several advantages. Users can gain complete control over the device and will be able to install custom firmwares which carry features that are not found in official builds. However, users can return to their stock firmware by unrooting the phone.   

Senior XDA developer, Ryuinferno, has released a zip file which allows Galaxy S2 I9100G users to unroot their devices. The unroot method, as claimed by the developer, is an easier process wherein users can flash the zip files directly via stock recovery. One of the key features of the zip file is that it can be used to unroot the Galaxy S2 I9100G running on ICS or Jelly Bean version.
