Another BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 build has leaked ahead of the official roll-out, expectednext month.
The OS comes with the build number 10.3.1.938 against the recent leak which carries version 10.3.1.821. Both the OS download links as well as radios are available for all the BlackBerry 10 devices at CrackBerry forum. But there is no changelog for the 938 build.
If you are among those lucky ones who own a
BlackBerry 10 device including Z10, Z30, Z3, Q5 or Q10, you can enjoy
the leaked firmware on your device. Given below are these downloads
links for OS 10.3.1.938.
Keep in mind that this is not an official release by BlackBerry but a
leaked version and installing these on your BlackBerry 10 device will
introduce bugs and the features may not work properly. Hence, proceed at
your own risk. And do not forget to create a backup of all the data
before flashing the leaked firmware.
Also, the download links for BlackBerry Passport are not working but if you want an official firmware there is some good news.
BlackBerry has released new stock firmware update, BlackBerry OS 10.3.0.908 for the Passport. This is similar to the firmware which leaked earlier this month.
1. Download the appropriate Autoloader. Your model number can be found under Settings › About › Model Number
Turn off your BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device.
Run the downloaded Autoloader file.
When prompt shows “Connecting to Bootrom”, connect your device to your computer and turn it on.
If you have a password set on your device, type your password when prompted.
After your device restarts, complete the set up wizard.
Note: You may attempt to load the latest Dev
Alpha B update onto your Dev Alpha A, however the The Dev Alpha A is no
longer officially supported as of 10.1.0.1485. If you encounter any
issues please downgrade back to 10.0.10.263 using the Autoloader method.
You can download the old 10.0.10.263 Autoloader here.
The 10.1 SDK OS (10.1.0.1485) is also being made available to those
developers who would like to test on their BlackBerry 10 device. You'll
need to find your device model number and then download the
corresponding Autoloader above. The model number can be found under Settings › About › Model Number.
This SDK OS update is only for testing purposes and does not
replace your full BlackBerry 10 OS. To revert your BlackBerry 10 device
to a public OS release, please follow the steps outlined in this Knowledge Base Article.
Using BlackBerry Link, you will be able to reload your device software
to a full OS and, if needed, download any OS updates from your carrier.
